Barry Brooks – High Value Vegetables Specialist
Barry Brooks is the largest private Pineapple farmer in Australia with his farm located in Yepoon, Queensland. He has experience working in Pakistan, North and Central America, Europe and Africa. He has set up the cattle feed programs for Engro’s Nara Farm, Ever Fresh farm, Shafi Group in Bhaira and Al-Tahur Farm among other farms. He is also a consultant with USAID, Austrade and AusAid. He has helped major farms in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt in developing their fodder programs.
Barry Brooks also specializes in harvesting and post harvesting technologies of vegetables, sugarcane, corn, rice and other broad acre crops.
He sits on the advisory board of Agricultural Advisory Commission for the government of Australia among other associations.
